Apply more for tighter curls, and less for elongated curls. For "wash n go" hairstyles, apply gel as needed, running it through the hair with your fingers, then securing it with your fingers. Air dry or use a diffuser on a light setting. For twists and curls, apply to sections of hair, distributing to each area and combing from root to tip (use more for thicker/longer hair). Prepare each section according to the style you want (twists, braids, Bantu knots, etc.) Let the hair dry completely, then take apart each section. For best results, prepare your hair using shampoo first.
